EXIF Remover

Strip GPS location, camera info and all other metadata from photos before sharing them. Everything happens in your browser — the photo is never uploaded.

Cleaning works by re-encoding the pixels through a canvas, which drops every metadata segment (EXIF, GPS, XMP, ICC, IPTC, comments). Orientation is baked into the pixels first so rotated phone photos stay upright. JPEGs are re-encoded at 92% quality; PNG stays lossless.

Photos from phones often embed exact GPS coordinates. Strip them before posting images publicly. See also the Image Compressor and Image Resizer.
